Allgrove School welcomed accomplished author and illustrator Grace Lin on Monday. The kids enjoyed her story telling and collaborative drawing activity.
Today we kicked off the Turkey Token Challenge with assemblies for each grade. Students learned about and shared their ideas on the benefits of a safe and supportive learning environment like the one
we have here at Allgrove. Students watched videos on kindness and problem solving (they were thrilled with the wonderful performances by their teachers). As part of the challenge, Allgrove staff will be recognizing positive student behavior, both in individuals and entire classes. It was a truly wonderful school-wide event that ended with a Turkey Shuffle Dance party with a mysterious giant turkey guest!

Allgrove School's prediction for the winner of the 2026 Super Bowl based on our Soup or Bowl food drive was announced... The winner will be the New England Patriots, who according to our food drive results will win by the score of 132-67 over the Seattle Seahawks. Thank you all for your generous donations to the East Granby Food Pantry.
Students have been supporting Allgrove’s annual food drive through this year’s “Soup or Bowl” event. We are asking students to bring in either canned soup or packaged dry soups/ramen/mac & cheese, etc. (e.g. bowls) beginning on Monday, January 26. The winner of this year’s Super Bowl will be determined by the box that contains the most food items. All items donated to support the East Granby Food Pantry.
